Media Coverage
“From 5 pm until dark, the plates kept coming and the Deschutes beer kept flowing. Everyone was happy. No one left hungry. There was no one there to say "no”…. There aren't many parties like Sagebrush in the entire country, so the opportunity to sample the fare of some of the world's top chefs in one place is rare—especially at a place three hours from Portland.” – Willamette Week
“Each year, the Sagebrush Classic invites a talented line-up of chefs from around the world to help raise money for numerous non-profit organizations throughout Central Oregon.” – The Oregonian
“Central Oregon’s most upscale food event” – Oregon Restaurant Association
"One event that helped put Bend on the culinary map is the annual Sagebrush Classic, a golf tournament that hosts a lavish feast featuring famous chefs from around the country." -- The Source Weekly

The Sagebrush Classic is a golf tournament and culinary event in Bend, Oregon. The golf tournament began in 1990 and the inspiration for the feast was realized in 1994. The primary beneficiary of the event is the Deschutes Children's Foundation, which works to assist families and children in need within Central Oregon. The Foundation manages three centers, two in Bend and one in Redmond, Oregon. Expansion of services and additional centers in other Central Oregon communities are future projects for the Foundation.
